What is CareerPath Finder?
CareerPath Finder is a personalized career coaching and job search support program that combines career discovery assessment tools with 1:1 and group coaching to help individuals discover their natural skills, strengths, and career interests, develop goals and actionable plans to meet them.
What is the assessment?
A research-backed, interactive career discovery assessment that measures aptitudes, interests, and career connections. It is not a test, and there are no right or wrong answers. The assessment provides objective insight into how an individual is naturally wired to think, work, and solve problems. An expert, certified career coach will provide a debrief of the assessment results with you. Additionally, the assessment also looks at one’s interests which makes the outcome a diagnostic that blends aptitude and interests.
What are aptitudes?
An aptitude is an individual’s natural ability to learn or perform in given areas. Aptitudes are different from interests, personality, or learned skills, which are environmentally dependent and change over time. For example, someone can’t be interested in something they’ve never been exposed to, but aptitudes are innate and solidify by the age of 14. Someone is good at something that is innate regardless of exposure.
